Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No. The quote process needs your sex, birth date, how you'd describe your health, tobacco use, the coverage amount, and the policy term. That information is sufficient to get rates from carriers. We only gather personal details like your name and location if you decide to apply.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
These are what carriers quote for the health class you told us about. The final rate gets determined by underwriting, which may confirm your class, move you up a tier, or adjust it downward. Nothing shown here amounts to a binding offer or price guarantee.
What happens when I click Apply?
You enter your name, and the application is built from your exact chosen quote and submitted to the carriers' secure platform. The process allows you to save and return later, and all signing happens online. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California agency (License 0B75129), manages this step.
Will I need a medical exam?
It depends on the specific carrier, the coverage amount you selected, and your individual answers. Some carriers provide same-day decisions for eligible applicants without any exam; each quote describes whether testing is mandatory, optional, or unnecessary for that product.
Is a longer term better?
A term length should match the period during which dependents would suffer financially if your income stopped: a mortgage balance, children at home, business obligations. Longer periods lock in lower monthly payments but cost more overall. The quote tool displays pricing across 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30-year options for comparison.
Does this site sell my information?
No. The quote system does not ask for personal contact information, we do not buy or exchange personal data, and we do not use traditional cookies for tracking. Visit the privacy page for a complete accounting of what data is gathered and how it is managed.
